My Life, Part I

It has been brought to my attention that it has been a month since I last posted a blog. It has also been brought to my attention that my life is not all that exciting. Do you wonder how I could have possibly written over 400 posts? Do you wonder how my dull, little life could be interesting at all? Imagine that I am now in communication with folks in Rwanda through a very unusual set of circumstances. Imagine that these folks (2 families) believe that my life is the most exciting life in the world. Imagine that these folks have invited me to "write, write and write". Say they, "It is a true joy to hear from you. I surely will read all. You just write!" Imagine that. I was recently told that me and my family are not interesting (save the boy). I understand it was not said as an insult. Rather, they meant it as a compliment, "everyone doing what they should be doing." But, I must beg to differ. What may seem dull and uninteresting to others is absolutely, over-the-top exciting for me. To see my life through the eyes of two families who live on cassava and what can be foraged, to see my life through the eyes of two families who have no electricity and no running water, to see my life through the eyes of two families that live in dirt houses, to see my life. . . to see my life. . . to see my life. . . wow! My life is the most exciting life in the world!

Our lives become more exciting when we share our lives with others. NEVER, EVER will forget the day we met. Our lives became entwined forever - from that day forward. Now we both glean from each others word. We share, we pray and we care for each of our families. Rwanda? Distance plays no role in relationships.
