Ice Packs

After my daughter's surgery, her sweet little face wasn't so little anymore. Her face swelled up from the removal of her wisdom teeth. So, I made her some ice packs out of old tube socks. They say, "Happy Socks" "For Unhappy Sockets" My daughter was very amused, but then again, the pain meds make everything amusing....................

You are so creative! I have to remember this stuff for when I walk this road with my kids :)

Pray for the little one - I was up again most of the night with her coughing. Its pitiful to see a newborn hurt. I sent my husband and kids off to church and me and little lady stayed home.

I'm hoping to make it to church for Christmas Eve - if I do it will be a sling situation to make sure no-one is touching her.

The doctor said to just keep doing what I'm doing and she should be better in 7-10 days. My older two have been coughing all over the place. When the baby went in for her well visit the doctor wrote out an Rx for the older two. It is helping them.

Robin, this has already been covered in prayer - but, I will continue to pray for her. When our new babies were congested we would put some VICKS on the corner of a wash cloth and put the wash cloth somewhere near the baby's crib. It helped open up airways without having to put anything directly on their skin. When they got older, they all liked Vicks rubbed on their backs.

You're a good mom and she'll be better in no time.

Be blessed
